it's monday again...all of the things that i said "more about this later" will have to wait until later...sorry...

my weekend was good...i didn't go to church and there is always an emptiness in me when that happens...otherwise a good weekend...saturday, what did i do?...oh, i relaxed and did some housework and later i went with my son and other family members to the baseball game...we have a northwest league team in our town, the tri-city dust devils (affiliate of the colorado rockies) and they played the vancouver canadians...exciting game, lots of controversy with the umpires even disagreeing on calls, 3 giants were ejected from the game, several players hit by pitches, the game lasted over 4 hours, we got to watch fireworks after the game...it was awesome...

sunday i watched tiger woods win his 13th major, which is cool...the mariners shut out the white sox 6-0, great pitching by jeff weaver...watched the game on fox...watched the seahawks win a preseason game...big brother was memorable, this has been a really interesting season for that show...more on that later, too...

hopefully i will write more tomorrow...i still need to walk home and do my cross-training, then eat dinner, watch how i met your mother, do my yoga/pilates and go to bed...

it's been a couple of years, but i'm back...my former blogger name was "singlemomteacher", but it's different now...sure, i'm still single, still a mom, still a teacher, but so much has happened and so much hasn't happened and now i get to write again...there are things going on in my life that are hard to say, hard to verbalize, but they simply have to come out of my mind...typing them and getting them out on the screen, whether or not anyone ever sees them, this is therapeutic...

i think that one person ever read my old blog regularly, and that was sumo from california...hope all is well with her and i will try to let her know that i have a new blog...

what am i doing in life right now?...well, i have been working this summer with the same program as last summer, the summer camp for kids at the community center...it's been unbelievably great, working with e. again (sorry, it takes me a while to have enough trust to actually write people's full names on this) and so many of the same kids are with us...have met some wonderful new kids...went to silverwood on monday with some of the older kids and as always, it was a memorable and fun time...silverwood is a fun amusement park and water park outside of coeur d'alene, idaho for those of you who don't live in the pacific northwest...

looking so forward to fall when i can return to the classroom as a substitute teacher...those who don't know me may be thinking, "substitute teaching? why don't you want to be a real teacher?"...my response is...i have been a so-called "real teacher", had my own classroom of 6th and 7th grade students in a private middle school, and it just wasn't for me and i experienced an illness that forced me to have to leave my position early in the year...more about that later...

i am a mom to a 21-year-old son and a 19-year-old daughter...have been divorced for just over 4 years...more about all of that later, too...

i have to be at work in just over an hour...i am at the library using a public computer because i don't have a computer at home or obviously the internet because of $$$ or the lack thereof...more about that later too...

so it's good to be back in blogland and i will post again soon...hopefully not another two years or so between blog entries...later
